Built for learning by doing
DLDForge is an independent educational project created by Partha Bhoumik. It brings fundamental Digital Logic Design concepts into one browser-based workspace so that students can test ideas and understand how a result is obtained.
The tools cover positional number systems, signed binary arithmetic, BCD and Excess-N coding, Boolean expressions, truth tables, canonical SOP/POS forms, Karnaugh maps, logic circuits and timing diagrams. The platform also includes an MSI circuit simulator and a virtual digital logic trainer board.
How it helps students
- Explore: change inputs and observe how outputs behave.
- Understand: follow intermediate steps for conversions and Boolean transformations where supported.
- Practice: draw and test circuits or timing diagrams in interactive workspaces.
- Check: compare results with your own hand calculations and class notes.
Educational independence
DLDForge is an independently maintained learning resource. It is not an official university examination, grading service or substitute for course instructions. Students should verify important results with their instructors and textbooks.
New to the platform? Begin with the worked learning guides, then open a tool and experiment with your own inputs.
